Old white bottle vs new blue/black bottle

I had some of the old white bottle left in a travel size bottle from awhile back. Since it was pretty old I emptied the travel bottle out to replace with newer blue/black bottle spray. The old stuff I poured out was a very clear blue/green color. The new bottle I poured into the travel size bottle was darker green and looked like algae. Kind of grossed me out. Is this what the liquid is supposed to look like??

Have medium length hair, thin strands but lots of it. Been using for years at recommendation of hairdresser and if I don't use it, I see a difference

I have no idea for the bad reviews! I've been using for years and am very particular about products and the performance. My hair is fine and I don't have a ton of it. This stuff is a life saver and does exactly what it says - lifts the roots providing volume. Thank you Matrix!

Matrix has betrayed us. White and turquoise bottle was fabulous. Turquoise and black bottle is worthless. Why did you do this?

I think this product works really well. I will say that I didn’t see any difference with my first use. However, the second time I used it, I sprayed more, close to my scalp, so that my roots felt wet. I waited a second and used my finger tips to massage/tousle the product around to make sure it was getting all of my roots (well...at the top of my head). I blowed dried it and saw an instant difference. I now use this method and have non-flat hair. It’s not like crazy volume, hence the four stars, but my hair is certainly not flat, like its usual state!

normally use another root lifter product but since they were out, gave this a try. what a waste!!! did absolutely nothing; no extra body, no lift. worse - i can't get past the smell! it's awful!!

I bought this product thinking it was like it’s predecssor Amplify. Wow was I wrong! This just made my hair look horrible and greasy. No volume what so ever. Now I’m looking to other manufacturers to see if I can find one that was as good as Amplify! Extremely disappointed in Matrix!

Very Disappointed and not the same product

I have used the Matrix Wonder Boost Root Lifter for years and have had great success. The new reworked product is not the same and hair goes flat. Too much conditioner or something. I am highly disappointed in the change and have had to find other products to use to get similar results. The new product is not something I will buy again. Bring back the original!

Very Disappointed

I have been using your Total Results Amplify Volume Shampoo, Conditioner and Root Lifter for several years. I ran out of the "white" packaged products and purchased your redesigned bottles and these are NOT the same!!!! I do not get the same results for my fine hair and am so very disappointed with the new product....please bring back the creamy shampoo and old root lifter for my fine hair!

Total Disappointment

This product replaced the Amplify Root Lifter, which was the best product for fine hair that I have ever used. I would have 5 bottles stocked up at a time, so when I went to buy more and found it had been replaced I was just sick! But, I thought I would give it a chance with the hope that they had not changed the formula. Needless to say, they had and it no longer is the best product! It makes me Wonder where the boost is. I will never understand why companies take a proven, good product and try to change it. If it isn't broken - don't fix it!! Please bring back the old formula!!!!!!!!

Amplify Wonder Boost Root Lifter did not undergo a formula change. It was renamed High Amplify and the packaging was updated.
