Revitalisant Matrix Instacure Build-A-Bond renforcateur

It's brought new life to my tired locks with an incredible shine. It's too soon to see if it's going to help with my breakage issues but it's cured my lifeless sad lack of shine problems so that's a HUGE WIN! woohoo!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for this product as Matrix is a well known salon brand and I have used their products in the past however this was my first time using the Instacure Build A Bond line. I have medium length color treated hair that I would say at the time was pretty damaged. The conditioner comes in a colorful and bright bottle that is clearly marked with the major ingredients Citric Acid and Squalane. I do not recall ever seeing citric acid as a notable ingredient in hair care before so was curious to see how it worked out. The smell and appearance is pleasant and it lathered well and rinsed out well. I didn't notice anything different about my hair while in the shower, it felt as it always has and not smooth or revived like other bonding conditioner. I continued use for roughly 3 weeks and my hair didn't noticeably change for better or worse. I was expecting a big difference in shine and softness as I have had with other bonding lines but this just didn't hit the mark.

I had been using a more expensive system when I was given the opportunity to try this system. I could tell a big difference in my hair, after just one wash. It smells wonderfully clean!! I used it for a few weeks and while I cannot share any long-term results yet, overall I am quite impressed. I have very fine, wavy hair and I usually struggle with finding a good hair products that don't make my hair fall. The conditioner is a bit thick for my test, but nonetheless, I was happy with it - it does combat the frizz (again, it is not magic pixie dust :) ) - but note that I live in a very dry climate, so I am not sure how it would fare when there is humidity, and detangled my hair enough to be able to easily style it afterwards. It has a nice scent to it and I've used it in combination with the shampoo, there were some noticible results in the few weeks I used it for.

I was a little nervous using the conditioner, since grease is a huge problem for me, but this wasn't the case. It just enhanced the shampoo..I am impressed and love it. With all that, comes hair damage so I was very excited to try this Instacure Binding conditioner along with the shampoo from Matrix. This is the 5th time using them both and I have to say that I definitely felt a difference on the texture of my hair after the second use. Not only does my hair feel amazing but also looks it, very manageable. I definitely recommend this product and definitely will be purchasing and integrating into my hair care routine.

While I still have some split ends my hair doesn't look so dry anymore and the ends look more together. I've used this set a month, a little bit over and I've loved it. A little goes a long way especially the shampoo. I have long about hip length hair I have two small front sections colored and also barely saw any color come off during shower. I have naturally curly hair. It has a lovely smell, it's something I'm glad I got to sample and will be looking forward to making a staple.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The conditioner in this line just doesn't do it for me. Doesn't leave your hair as soft as you would think for a build a bond conditioner. After I used it, it almost felt as if I didn't use a conditioner.

It leaves my hair smooth and after it looks way better. Once it's dry my hair is shiny and more tamed. I will be changing this to my new regular conditioner.

I recently dyed my hair and this along with the shampoo had been great in keeping my hair healthy and strong in btw color touch ups. I think that says a lot since i have tight coils type 4 hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample and thought the description sounded perfect for me color-treated, dry, damaged, very straight hair. I live in South Florida so it is very humid and I'm constantly in the sun and/or water (salt and chlorinated) so I was hoping this conditioner would bring my dry/damaged hair back to life. It does a great job smoothing, softening and detangling and it smells amazing. I also found it prevents frizz, holds up well in humidity, and gives me great volume and somewhat moisturizes. However, I think it fell flat on the moisturizing factor, especially given it is supposed to soften hair and reinforce damaged ends. I still find, even after the Instacure shampoo and conditioner, that I am lacking the 'bond' and moisture it promises. I am still left with dry, damaged ends that after a few days of no wash, they start to look like straw. I did have to follow my Instacure haircare routine with heavy oil or leave-in conditioner on my ends. However, my hair still did improve in texture (soft and smooth), it did not weigh my already flat hair down and it did provide some moisture, it may just not be enough for my specific strands. I will continue to use it but I think I need something with more heavy duty moisturizers.

This conditioner makes my hair feel like it's given a good treatment. My hair feels smooth and slick after I use it. Make sure you follow the direction to leave the product in the hair for a least a few minutes. The smell is same as the shampoo which is not great. It's like a minty herbal scent trying to make a faint chemically hair product smell. I took a star off for that, but otherwise a great product.
