Appliquer une quantité de produit de la taille d'un 25 cents, faire mousser et rincer. En cas de contact avec les yeux, les rincer immédiatement. Utiliser ensuite un après-shampooing ou un masque de traitement et une huile.

Horrible Smell

I bought this at my local salon because my hairdresser stated she had heard good things about it.
I can’t get past the strong scent. I’m trying to determine what the smell reminds me of the first thing that comes to mine is bug spray.

Hair falling out

I tried this conditioner only as I have never had a problem with Matrix products and the said results sounded great!
I started losing hair.. I was finding it everywhere in the house, in the shower, next to my bed etc. I stopped it and put it away thinking it I’ll go on some hair growth shampoo and conditioner which I stayed on for 12 months. My hair had repaired so just recently pulled it out.
I’ve used it once or twice and already I have hair falling out, lots in the shower drain. In the brush etc.
I’m so disappointed to think I could be going back yo square one.
Also, on a quick google asking if hair food causes hair falling, there’s sooo many women experiencing the same thing.

Hair loss

Heavenly scented soft manageable hair!

The scent is warm and heavenly, I CANNOT GET ENOUGH of this product line and I just wish they came out with more products using this particular scent! I was using a different product line and had to find something else, once my salon shut down. Those prices had gone up and the product quality just wasn't there anymore. I was desperate to find something different. I found the perfect product for my hair. Leaves my hair soft and smelling wonderful.

Beware of hair loss

I love Matrix products, so I decided to purchase the Food for Soft shampoo and conditioner. After using them, my hair felt soft and nice. However, I started to notice significant hair loss while washing it, and now I can see my scalp. I have no medical issues that would explain this change, and the only alteration to my hair care routine has been the introduction of these new products.
My hairdresser is also concerned, as my hair was fine, but I had heaps of it, and now I have hardly any. I have stopped using the shampoo and conditioner and am trying to grow my hair back. I'm very disappointed!

I've been using this for a year now. I use it once every 2 days. I have long dark brown hair. Before this shampoo I was suffering from lots of hair shedding. I'm talking like I barely touch my hair and I had like 15 strands in my hand. But this shampoo... THIS SHAMPOO. Is absolute GOLD. It leaves my hair soft and it reduced my hair shed like 90%.
It's not sulfate free, I was using shampoos like that and seems that's what made my hair fall. But this shampoo is AWESOME. Please don't ever change the formula!!!!!!! (also this is my honest review/ not paid)

Liquid gold

Typically shampoo does not make my hair feel soft. Just shampooing, I notice a difference in my hair. I do use both the shampoo and conditioner. My hair was brittle, breaking off, and dry. I noticed a difference after just one wash and have been using the shampoo and conditioner and treatment mask for months now. I don't have to use very much and my hair is clean, soft, and hydrated and incredibly Shiney. It's no longer breaking off. It also smells good. I really hope they don't change the formula! This stuff is liquid gold!

Very effective for dry hair!

Great for dry and dyed hair

My hair is currently dyed and even though it’s pretty thin it’s so hard to comb. It gets tangled easily. So I’m always looking for products that help with the dryness without making it look greasy. I have used amplify by Matrix for about 20 years, never wanted to change, and started struggling to find it, so my hairstylist introduced me to Food for Soft.
Oh my goodness that stuff is amazing .. smells delicious and my hair is so soft ! I have gotten so many compliments on the texture
