I used about a quarter sized amount to wash my hair. I'm not a huge fan of shampoos due to how dry they make my hair feel but this one does help remove the knots! I also get so many compliments on how good my hair smells!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this shampoo. It has a very nice floral/honey scent and the formula leaves my hair soft but still light. It has a really nice, velvety lather. I tried it by itself with a single wash and found that it cleans my hair/scalp quite well. I exercise every day and use styling products so extra cleansing makes sense for me so that the next time I used this shampoo, I used a scalp scrub first then the shampoo and the results were even better. My curls (3B) have felt bouncy and super clean from using this.

I didn't feel that dry stripping feeling that you normal feel with clarifying shampoo's, it was very moisturizing and definitely defined my curls after first use.

It leaves my hair squeaky clean but doesn't dry out my curls. After using other clarifying shampoos, my curls are left knotted but not this one which was a nice surprise. It also smells great so I'm excited to continue incorporating in my hair routine.

The very first thing that you'll notice about this product is the smell it smells like roses!! But the second thing you'll notice is the softness and cleanliness of your hair before you apply conditioner, it really isn't needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly didn't have very high hopes for this shampoo- I've tried so many different kinds that haven't blown me away. But this formula made me reach twice! Firstly, you can smell the honey in the shampoo. It smells like its fresh from the hive. The shampoo lathers SO nicely, with a little going a long way. It gives a good long rich lather time, and feels so luxurious that you dont want to rinse it out. It rinses out clean without leaving hair dry and brittle like so many shampoos do. Rarely do you find a shampoo that doesn't require a conditioner to get a brush through it! Anyway, it rinses clean and left my hair feeling clean but still very hydrated and moisturized. I followed this up with the curl moisturizer crème and am even more impressed with that! I have 2c-3a fine hair, and this shampoo was not too heavy for me. As i said, it lathers very richly and would work well for thicker hair types.

It contains my nucha honey extract, and I am not sure what the perfume is, but it makes my hair smell amazing. It left my hair very clean. I think it helped remove some of the buildup of other products. My hair is a little fine so I didn't have to use a whole lot of product and it definitely gave my curls some more definition and made my hair so pretty and bouncy.

During the washing process I notice that it doesn't make my hair feel stringy and stripped. It feels light and refreshing.

Unfortunately, it seems very harsh, even for a cleansing shampoo, and required a ton of conditioner to make my hair soft again. Not sure what this shampoo on its own is supposed to do to revive my curls, but it was just too harsh. I'm usually a big fan of Matrix products but this is not for me.
